Congratulations to all of the Obama supporters reading this blog.  Now I have a request for you all:

Now that Obama’s the President-Elect, please let the rest of us know why in the hell you voted for this guy (Allen and any die-hard Democrats don’t need to answer this because I’m fairly certain you all would’ve voted for anyone other than McCain).  And please don’t use any of the following cliched media induced responses:  ”I want change” or “I don’t want another 4 years of Bush” or “McCain’s too old” or “What if McCain died in office?  I don’t want Palin as President” …………. please just give it to us straight (by the way, if one of those reasons IS the actual reason you voted for Obama, do us all a favor next time….stay home). 

We get to have this man as OUR President for the next 4 years, and I’d like to know that – at least those of you who voted for him – can at least give the rest of us a valid reason why…..cause personally, I think we’re in deep shit.  Should I give my wholehearted support to the President….Absolutely (I always have, despite what he has done)….my question then is….where the hell was your support the last 4 to 8 years?
